Greetings to all and I pray that the joy of the Lord
continues to be yours!

A
little over a week ago, I gave my first report to the
General Connectional Board. The meeting was held, as in
years past, at the Memphis Airport Hotel (previously
known as the Holiday Inn Select) in Memphis, TN. I want
to again thank the Standing Committee on Lay Ministry
for your presence and the input and work that you
provided during our meeting. Moving forward, I will be
communicating with you individually and collectively.

Ministry Standing Committee Meeting are posted as well.
After reading the content of each, if you have questions
or would like to assist with any of the needs that are
mentioned, please contact me.

Please let your voice be
heard by responding to the survey that is being
conducted by the College of Bishops to seek feedback
from connectional leaders and members to assist with
planning for the 2013 Annual C.M.E. Convocation and
Consolidated meetings. The survey is available at
www.c-m-e.org/convocation/convocationplanningsurvey.htm.
The deadline for completion of the
survey is tomorrow (Wednesday, May 18, 2011) at
12:00 p.m. EST.
