Mrs. Princess Pegues  Council President

 

 

My dear Missionary Sisters,

 

“I thank my God every time I remember you.” (Philippians 1:3)

 

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful honor you have bestowed upon me by electing me as the 10^th President of our great organization, the Women’s Missionary Council, and for the confidence you have placed in me.

 

However, I realize that with the honor comes many challenges, but I am positive by working together, and with God’s help we will certainly be able to meet them.

 

Congratulations to all of the newly elected officers, departmental secretaries, and committee chairs.  I know you will do a great job, and I look forward to working with you.

 

As you know, my motto is, “Be ye doer of the Word and not hearers only.”  I promise you that I will be a “doer” and I invite you to be a “doer” with me – as we strive to carry out Jesus’ great commission, move the Council to the next level, and strive to improve the advancement of the Connectional Church which we all love.

 

Look to hear from me in the near future as we transition from one administration to another.  

 

Again, I thank you, I love you one and all!  Keep me in your prayer and I will do the same for you.
