The Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church under the leadership of Senior Bishop Marshall Gilmore offers the support of its congregations, nationwide, to provide shelter, food and financial assistance to individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Assistance for the Victims of Hurricane Katrina Senior Bishop Marshall Gilmore is requesting for each local church to raise a special offering each Sunday during the month of September for the victims of hurricane Katrina. Regions of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama suffer for want of food, water, clothing and rescue. All checks should be made payable to the Department of Finance and forwarded to your respective Presiding Prelate's office.
