The theme for 2009 Connectional
Youth & Young Adult Week is "Doing a New Thing
Continues...Building Leaders for Ministry."

include shipping.

2. The General Secretary is recommending the
Association for the Study of African American
Life and History (ASALH) Resource Kit for the
Celebration of
Black History Month.
The kit can be ordered by going to

. The theme for Black History is,
" The Quest for
Black Citizenship in the Americas."
ASALH resources also highlight the election of
the first African American President.

The Department of Christian Education regrets
that the CME VBS Resource
has
been discontinued. The General Secretary
recommends the use of Abingdon Press/Cokesbury
"On the Move,"
for 2009. This resource can be purchased at
local Cokesbury stores or ordered on-line from
the Cokesbury Website <www.cokesbury.com>.
